These are the charges that apply when you cancel a ticket booked through Saer Karo Travel and Tours (SMC-Private) Limited ("SAER.PK"). The amount deducted is the total of the charges below, and the rest is refunded under our Refund Policy.
1. Charges on a cancelled ticket

The airline's penalty is different for each airline and fare. Our support team will tell you the exact amount for your ticket before you confirm the cancellation.
2. When no charge applies
- A booking that was only reserved and never paid for or ticketed can be cancelled free of charge.
- If the airline cancels the flight or changes its schedule significantly, SAER.PK does not charge its service fee.
- If your payment failed or was taken twice, the full amount is refunded.
3. Non-refundable fares and no-shows
For non-refundable fares, only the taxes the airline refunds are returned, less the SAER.PK service fee. If a passenger does not show up for a flight, the airline's no-show penalty applies and the fare may not be refundable at all.
4. Example
One passenger paid PKR 60,000 for a refundable ticket. The airline's cancellation penalty is PKR 8,000.
Refund = PKR 60,000 − PKR 8,000 (airline penalty) − PKR 2,000 (SAER.PK service fee) = PKR 50,000.
5. Date changes
Changing the date or route instead of cancelling is charged at the airline's change penalty plus any difference in fare.
